Michael Gulden

I'm Michael Gulden, and Growth Web Development LLC is my studio in Meridian, Idaho.

I graduated in graphic design (Brigham Young University–Hawaii, 2013) and have spent the years since doing one thing well: taking websites from the first client conversation through design, build, and hand-off. Independent contract work for Silicon Valley companies taught me enterprise process — SOWs, staging environments, brand systems, and the HubSpot builds marketing teams depend on. Running my own client work taught me the rest: scope carefully, communicate plainly, ship.

Today enterprise teams hire me when they need senior design and development capacity with a short runway: consulting when the direction needs a decision, implementation when designs need building right, redesign when the site needs to catch up to the company, and full design-and-development when they want one accountable pair of hands.

Underneath all of it is the same offer: judgment about what to build and what to leave out, an eye for when a page is right, and work measured by what it does for the business — not just by the deliverables it leaves behind.

And a word about how I work, because it shapes everything above: I learn by trying. My first version of anything works, and then I test it, adjust it, and improve it until it's complete. I start, see what use teaches, and fine-tune — it's faster, and the finished thing comes out stronger for it.

Away from client work, I'm in Idaho with my wife and three kids, and building the occasional thing of my own.
